Welcome to the Play Station day care nursery where we provide
professional childcare for children aged from six weeks to eight years for
the entire Island community.
The Play Station is set on the College campus in a modern purpose-built
building and offers an excellent standard of care. Our experienced,
qualified team of 14 permanent members of staff is led and managed by
an Early Years professional with a degree in Early Childhood Studies.
Children at the nursery engage in a variety of play experiences and
learning activities. All children are treated as individuals and staff
celebrate their diversity at every available opportunity. We welcome
children who have additional requirements in our fully accessible
accommodation and have two dedicated staff members who have
specialised training in this field of care.
If you would like to secure a place in our happy and friendly nursery,
please contact us to arrange a visit. Room leaders will be delighted to
provide you with an individual guided tour of our bright and cheerful
setting and there will be ample opportunity to ask staff questions.
We offer full day care, with places available during term time on an hourly
paid basis and holiday periods on a sessional basis (please refer to page
six for holiday club arrangements). This flexibility allows people to fit their
individual childcare needs around their study or working hours.
